The coalescence separator for separating oil-water mixture useful in sewage treatment, comprises a collecting tank for the oil-water mixture, and a jigsaw connected with a pump. An oil sensor is floatably mounted on bath surface in the collecting tank. The pump is disengaged when the oil sensor detects no more oil. The jigsaw is secured on the bath surface to floating body and separatably guided vertical at a profile rail laterally fixed on the collecting tank. The boundary layer formation is carried out in oil-water mixture in the height.
