The device has a measuring unit (1) comprising a movement sensor (2) for converting vibrations into a measuring signal. An electronic unit (3) evaluates the measuring signal, and is provided in a common, compact and uneven housing. The measuring unit is mechanically coupled with an appropriate fastening unit in different shape and provided vibration emitting objects e.g. drive seat. Storage units are integrated in the measuring unit for storing obtained measured values.
