<p>A system and a method for network camera monitoring and control and data online sharing is disclosed to allow cameras to directly connect a network and provide various services to end users. An administration server is coupled to one or more camera servers via the network which can be a private network or a public network such as the Internet. Each camera server is further coupled with one or more cameras that are connected as clients through a network media source subsystem via the network. The network media source subsystem may be a network camera or the like. The administration server authenticates a user before the user can allow a user access to the camera from a web browser on a client workstation such as a personal computer or mobile phone. All functions may be integrated into one system or multiple systems of which each governs a function.</p> |
