A screen display method of a mobile communication terminal and the mobile communication terminal thereof are provided to carry out a particular application by rotating a displayed object, thereby simply displaying a screen capable of performing the particular application through object touch. A display unit(120) displays an object. A sensing unit(130) senses touch of the displayed object. When the displayed object is touched, a controller(110) rotates the displayed object, and displays a screen capable of carrying out an application by the rotation on the display unit. If an input unit(140) exists in touch screen type, a key signal is inputted by touching the display unit. When a user touches the object by using a pointing device, the sensing unit senses the touch.
