<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of improving durability of a base section and simplifying a manufacturing process of the base section and manufacturing inexpensively while improving its reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device 100 comprises a light-emitting section for emitting light by applying electricity, a projection section 146 formed on a part of a case 140 and having a groove 146C axially formed on a cylindrical male screw 146A and at least a peripheral surface of the male screw 146A, and a base section 160 having a female screw 162B engaged with the male screw 146A of the projection section 146.
