PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a plurality of filters, using a simple constitution, with proper sensation of operation. SOLUTION: As a filter unit 102, a filter plate 2, a first gear 4, a second gear 8c and a driving gear 5 are provided. The filter plate 2 holds one or more filters 1 and is disposed rotatable around a rotary shaft 3, disposed at a position out of an imaging light passing position. The first gear 4 is mounted onto the rotary shaft 3 of the filter plate 2, and the second gear 8c is linked to a manipulator 8. For the driving gear 5, a central shaft 6 thereof is disposed at a position opposed to the rotary shaft of the filter plate 2 with the imaging light passage position therebetween, and the driving gear 5 comprises an inner gear portion 5a engaged, with the first gear 4 and an outer gear portion 5b linked to a side of the manipulator engaged with the second gear 8c, and is formed to connect the inner gear portion 5a and the outer gear portion 5b outside the imaging light passage position.
