PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna unit which is small-sized and capable of wide-band communication, regarding the antenna unit constituted of a ground and an element. SOLUTION: In the present invention, an element is characterized in including a first element constitution part whose one end is provided in counter to a ground as a connecting point and extends away from the ground, and a second element constitution part connected to another end of the first element constitution part and extends approximately in parallel with an edge of the ground.
