PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photomultiplier module of a structure capable of being downsized. SOLUTION: An extension line Y1 of a tube axis of a photomultiplier 1 is shifted from the center of gravity position G of the front face of a case 10A<SB>F</SB>, and thereby a space is formed at the opposed side in the case. A signal processing board 5 is arranged in this space, and since a high-voltage generation circuit board 20 is fixed on the extension line Y1 of the tube axis, the space in the case can be utilized effectively. Since the signal processing board 5 can be placed adjacent to a bypass line 1H of the photomultiplier 1, the board can be contained in the case even if the length of the signal processing board 5 in the tube axial direction (Y axis direction) is long.
