PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively check a machining program for sequentially executing a plurality of minute blocks through a simple operation by improving a single block function, reducing the number of times of pressing a start button, and largely moving a machine tool with one-button operation. SOLUTION: A numerical control apparatus with a single block function sets an execution amount of a processing program executed at a time in an execution processing amount setting part 13. A machining program execution controller 4 executes the blocks included in the set amount of execution en bloc by a single depressing of the start button 3. Additionally, upon detecting a block including a non-cutting command or a command for abruptly changing a machining direction, the machining program execution controller 4 suspends the execution of the machining program after that block and waits for the start button 3 to be depressed again.
