PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain both power saving during standby operation and instantaneous response to a command, in a nonvolatile memory device provided with a differential interface. SOLUTION: The nonvolatile memory device 200 includes a single end IF part 204 and a differential IF part 205. When communication is performed with a host device 100 using a differential system, the current source of the differential IF part 205 is OFF during standby time to reduce standby current, and a command input of differential signal from the host device 100 is received by the single end IF part 204.
