PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary member capable of surely reducing the occurrence of impact noise by maintaining the function as the temporary member and a method of reducing the impact noise of the temporary member. SOLUTION: In this tubular temporary member 1 used for constructions, a sheet vibration damper 2 absorbing the vibration produced when an impact force is applied thereto is stuck on the outer surface 1b and/or the inner surface 1a of the temporary member. Also, the vibration damper 2 is stuck the outer surface 1b and/or the inner surface 1a of the temporary member 1 within the area of 10-20% thereof. By the vibration damper 2 stuck on the temporary member 1, when the temporary member is thrown or fallen, the vibration can be absorbed and damped.
