PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demolition method of building, a detection device, and a building which can easily identify the kind and position of an interior member at the time of demolition work, and make possible the secure demolition of a building without damaging any reusable interior member. SOLUTION: The demolition method of the building makes possible the demolition of the building 1 without damaging the reusable interior member 5 which is covered with a surface layer material 6 forming a room of the building 1 and which is arranged in the surface layer material 6. An RFID 7 is attached to the interior member 5 in advance, and information on the interior member 5 is recorded in the RFID 7. Before demolition, the information recorded in the RFID 7 is obtained while scanning the surface 6a of the surface layer material 6 by the detection device 10 and by detecting the RFID 7.
