摘要 <p>An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to embody the electric optical system of an IPS system having a pixel TFT(Thin Film Transistor) unit having a reverse stagger-type TFT and a storage capacitor through the photolithography process of three times using three photomasks. An LCD device includes a pair of substrates, liquid crystal, a gate electrode and a common electrode, an insulating film, an amorphous semiconductor film(118), a source area(119) and a drain area(120), a source electrode, a source line(121), and a pixel electrode(122). The liquid crystal is interposed between the pair of substrates. The gate electrode and the common electrode are formed on one of the pair of substrates. The insulating film is formed on the gate electrode and the common electrode. The amorphous semiconductor film is formed on the insulating film. The source area and the drain area are formed on the amorphous semiconductor film. The source electrode is formed on the source area. The source line is extended from the source electrode and is parallel in the common electrode. The pixel electrode is formed on the drain area. A part of the pixel electrode is parallel in the common electrode. A section of the drain area or the source area is matched to a section of the amorphous semiconductor film and a section of the pixel electrode. The photolithography process of three times forms photoresist masks(117a~117c). An unnecessary portion is removed by etching the photoresist masks to form a first amorphous semiconductor film, the source area, the drain area, the source line, the pixel electrode, a second conductive film(123,124) are formed.</p>
