A cable connector for flat cable connection is provided to prevent unnecessary rotation of an actuator and fix the fastening state of a flat cable firmly, by restricting the actuator within a body housing. A contact(101) is fixed to a body housing(100) at a predetermined interval. The contact has a contact portion facing one surface of a flat cable and a pivot portion facing the other surface of the flat cable. An actuator(102) is installed at the body housing such that the actuator is rotatively openable and closable while the actuator is restricted within the body housing. The actuator selectively presses and fixes the flat cable onto the contact portion when an open state is changed into a close state. Hinge shafts(103) are provided at both ends of the actuator. The hinge shafts are supported by a guide unit of the body housing, thereby providing a rotation shaft of the actuator. A catching protrusion is contacted with the guide unit so as to restrict free rotation of the actuator. |
