<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder type inflator constituting an outer shape in a compact shape and attaining light weight even if an actuation device for rupturing a rupture disk is provided. <P>SOLUTION: The inflator 10 is provided with an outlet port 14 closed by the rupture disk 15 on an end side wall 13 of a tank part 11 built-in with a pressurization gas G0, and has a constitution that the rupture disk 15 is ruptured to open the outlet port 14 at operation of an operation device 18. The inflator 10 is communicated with the operation device 18 side and is provided with a discharge part 20 having a delivery port 26a for delivering the pressurization gas G0 flowing out from the outlet port 14 to an air bag 1 side. The discharge part 20 is constituted by a storage chamber 21 for storing the operation device 18 and a feed passage part 22 extending from the storage chamber 21. The feed passage part 22 is penetrated through the inside of the tank part 11, and the delivery port 26a is arranged at a distal end side projected from the end side wall part arranged at the other end side of the tank part 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
