<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic opening/closing device for a vehicle which can increase the amount of the opening/closing of an opening/closing body even if restrictions are imposed on an arrangement space of the side of a vehicle body, and to facilitate the operation of assembling the opening/closing device to the vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: A hinge arm 21 is movably supported on a center rail 22 which is fixed to the vehicle body 12. A sliding portion 31 is swingingly connected to the hinge arm 21, and a door-side guide rail 32 which is movably supported to the sliding portion 31 is fixed to a sliding door 14. A pair of pulleys 41a and 41b for inversion are arranged on both axial end sides of the door-side guide rail 32, and a pair of guiding pulleys 42a and 42b are arranged on the hinge arm 21. Opening-side and closing-side cables 25a and 25b, which are connected to opening-side and closing-side ends of the center rail 22, respectively, are looped over the guiding pulleys 42a and 42b in such an S-shape as to cross each other, and guided to a drive unit 24 via the corresponding pulleys 41a and 41b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
