<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of properly maintaining the performance of response to a Web page request in making the Web page compatible with multiple languages. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic device has an information processing means for implementing information processing according to a Web page request, and outputting the information processing result as XML data; an XSLT transformation means for creating HTML data by applying to the XML data XSL data where display character strings that differ depending on the language displayed are described by identifiers, and performing XSLT conversion; and a search means for searching for the display character strings corresponding to the identifiers according to the language displayed, based on display character string information that records the display character strings for the plurality of identifiers for each language. The XSLT conversion means creates the HTML data by using the search means.
