<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator wherein, even when disturbance vibration in the radial direction is produced in an output shaft, a permanent magnet as a driving source is prevented from being destroyed as the result of its collision with a moving member. <P>SOLUTION: A stator 1 is provided at each end with a flange 8 having a through hole 7 through which a shaft 2 is passed. The distance (indicated by reference designator D2) between the shaft 2 and the limb of each through hole 7 formed in the flanges 8 is so set that it is smaller than the distance (indicated by reference designator D1) between the first and second magnets and the moving member 5 on the shaft 2. Thus, the following event is prevented even when radial impact is applied by disturbance vibration: the shaft 2 is first brought into contact with the limb of the through hole 7 formed in a flange 8 and as a result, the magnets 3, 4 and the moving member 5 collide with each other and are destroyed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
