<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which matching of impedance at the time of insertion engagement can be obtained excellently and interference between adjoining multi-core conductors is little, and which hardly receives electromagnetic interference from the outside, and does little emit electromagnetic noises by itself, and can perform connection and transmission of a wide band signal rapidly. <P>SOLUTION: As a structure of a contact used in a connector, a plurality of signal conductors 4 are formed in parallel on a dielectric layer 7 in a strip line structure, and shield conductor layers 2, 8 are provided on both faces covered with a dielectric layer 3 on them, the signal conductor 4 is exposed with the dielectric layer and the shield conductor layer on one face side shorter than those of the opposite face in both faces portion. The exposed part 9 is made on the side to contact with the signal line of a circuit board, and the exposed part 5 can be contacted superimposed with a contact of a mating connector, and the thickness of the superimposed portion is reduced so as to be close to the thickness of the signal conductor 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
