PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovering agent for recovering arsenic, fluorine, lead and selenium from a solution containing environmentally hazardous substances such as arsenic and fluorine.

SOLUTION: The environmentally hazardous substances in a solution containing the environmentally hazardous substances are recovered by supplying a porous oxide having a particle diameter of 10-100μm and a specific surface area measured by the BET 3-point method of≥50 m2/g into the solution containing environmentally hazardous substances or passing the solution containing the environmentally hazardous substances through a column filled with the porous iron oxide.
