<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined machining lathe equipped with a workpiece supporting device for preventing the occurrence of chattering in machining the workpiece. <P>SOLUTION: The combined machining lathe 1 is equipped with a first spindle 10 and a second spindle 20 to grip the workpiece W<SB>1</SB>. An upper tool rest 30 is provided above a centerline connecting the first spindle 10 and the second spindle 20, and a lower tool rest 50 is provided below the centerline. The upper tool rest 30 is changeably mounted with a milling tool T<SB>1</SB>or the like to mill the workpiece W<SB>1</SB>. The lower tool rest 50 has a turret tool rest 70, and is provided with the workpiece supporting device 100 in addition to a tool.
