PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical part which is excellent in workability upon assembly and to reduce its production cost. SOLUTION: This electrical part includes a case 1 having a cylindrical shaft 1a serving as a bearing, an operation shaft 3 having a hollow cylinder held in the case 1 so as to freely rotate, a rotation member 4 having an opening into which the cylinder of the operation shaft 3 can be inserted and adapted to rotate integrally with the operation shaft 3, an LED 5 having a pair of terminals accommodated in a housing installed on the rotation member 4, a pair of first sliding members 6 respectively conducting to the pair of terminals, a substrate 2 provided with a power feeding pattern with which the first sliding members 6 are brought into sliding contact and rotation detecting means for detecting the rotation of the operation shaft 3, wherein the housing is installed on the rotation member 4 in a state that the inner peripheral side of the rotation member 4 is opened and the movement of the LED 5 accommodated in the housing from the inner peripheral side of the rotation member 4 is regulated by the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder of the operation shaft 3.
