摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrode for electric double-layer capacitors capable of increasing the occlusion speed of lithium and increasing the amount of lithium to be occluded. SOLUTION: A positive electrode is an electrode made of an active carbon, and a negative electrode is an electrode formed of a carbon material capable of occluding and releasing lithium in an ionized state and of a binder. When manufacturing the electrode for an electric double-layer capacitor using a nonaqueous electrolyte containing lithium salts, a lithium compound is set to be a main solute, and voltage is applied intermittently between positive and negative electrodes in a prescribed electrolyte where a lithium-polycyclic condensed aromatic series-ether complex is added. For the application voltage, the potential of the positive electrode and that of the negative electrode should be less than 4.0 V in vsLi/Li<SP>+</SP>and more than 0 V in vsLi/Li<SP>+</SP>, respectively.
