PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry non-glutinous unhulled rice to a target moisture content and to perform drying work while improving a whitening ratio of glutinous unhulled rice in a grain drier comprising a grain-type moisture measuring means. SOLUTION: In this grain drier comprising a non-glutinous unhulled rice drying setting means for setting a non-glutinous unhulled rice drying mode, a glutinous unhulled rice drying setting means for setting a glutinous unhulled rice drying mode, a combustion device and the moisture drying means for measuring the moisture of sample unhulled rice one grain by one grain, the combustion device is stopped, and then a suction fan is driven for a prescribed time and then stopped, when the non-glutinous unhulled rice drying mode or the glutinous unhulled rice drying mode is selected and the measured moisture value reaches the predetermined target moisture value. The prescribed time for driving the suction fan after the stop of the combustion device in the glutinous unhulled rice drying mode is shorter than that in the non-glutinous unhulled rice drying mode.
