PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt hinge wherein a state that a display device can be rotated in the horizontal direction can be recognized. SOLUTION: The tilt hinge comprises a first engaging part and a second engaging part provided on either a first bracket or a second bracket, and a restriction member movably provided between the first bracket and the second bracket while being engaged with either the first engaging part or the second engaging part for restricting the horizontal rotation when engaged with the first engaging part and for restricting vertical rotation when engaged with the second engaging part. Only when the second bracket is rotated relative to the first bracket in the vertical direction and set at a prescribed angle, the restriction member is moved and the restricted member engaged with the first engaging part is engaged in turn with the second engaging part to allow the rotation of the second bracket relative to the first bracket in the horizontal direction.
