PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic idling stop-restart device capable of being easily installed on a vehicle even in post-installation. SOLUTION: This automatic idling stop-restart device detects an idling condition of an engine and automatically stop the engine, and enables restart of the engine. The device is provided with a determination circuit enabling interruption connection to a key switch wiring of a key cylinder and detecting a shift lever position via signal of the key switch wiring, and a control part outputting engine stop-start signal based on the shift lever position detection signal.
