PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block for an underground structure hard to damage a joint section even in the case of conveyance of a block body or in the case of installation thereof and capable of preventing both block bodies from shifting when earth and sand are back-filled around the block bodies during the piles of them or when they are piled up. SOLUTION: In this block for an underground structure, three or more projecting parts 3a formed in a smooth waveform by extending the thickness of the a cylindrical block body 3 to the upper surface of the block body placed on the upper and lower sides and three or more recessed parts 3b formed to match the projecting parts are alternately arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. The block comprises a recessed part 3b' formed to match the projecting part 3a in the lower surface of the block body 3 and having the circumferential side surface allowed to fit to the circumferential side surface of the projecting part 3a and a projecting part 3a' formed to match the recessed part 3b'.
