PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reinforcing a storage and penetration facility for a rainwater or the like using a table-like unit member. SOLUTION: In a storage and penetration facility for a rainwater or the like where a flat plate and a table-like member comprised of a tubular part opened to the flat plate are arranged at underground, a storage space for the rainwater is formed and a periphery of the storage space is covered by a sheet, a reinforcing material is arranged in a horizontal direction and vertical direction at a space where is not occupied by the table-like member in the storage space or the reinforcing material is arranged in the vertical direction in the tubular part.
