PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold clamping device of an injection molding machine equipped with a movable platen support mechanism capable of being simply adjusted in its height. SOLUTION: A block 35 is fixed to the bottom of a movable platen 14 by bolts 38. One end of a bolt 44 is inserted in the block 35 and a pin screw 49 is screwed in pin holes 43 and 45. By this constitution, the bolt 44 is extended from the block 35 in parallel to a rail 31. A first nut 46 is attached to the bolt 44 to cover a bolt hole 38 and a second nut 47 is attached finally. A slider 33 is connected to the block 35 through the bolt 44, and the slider 33 and the block 35 are moved left and right in the Fig. along with the fixed platen 38. The nut can be visually observed from the side surface of the injection molding machine and a spunner can be easily locked with the nut to simply rotate the nut. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
