PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder which can measure and adjust states such as position and rotation of a head without being affected by a mounting position, a magnification, an optical distortion, etc. of a reading means. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder has an intermediate transfer 14 to which a light correction pattern for measurement formed by a predetermined density pattern all over the whole width is partly formed, reading means 46 and 47 which read an image formed to the intermediate transfer, a correction processing part 60 which carries out light correction of the reading means on the basis of the light correction pattern for measurement, an arithmetic processing part 61 which calculates a position adjustment value of the recording head on the basis of the read result of a line image that is formed by a constant period all over the whole width of the intermediate transfer by the recording heads 12C-12K and read by the reading means subjected to the light correction by the correction processing part, and an adjusting means 45 which adjusts a relative positional relationship between the line image and the intermediate transfer on the basis of the position adjustment value of the recording head calculated by the arithmetic processing part.
