PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for desalting fly ashes and an apparatus for desalting fly ashes at a low treatment cost with a saved consumption amount of an acid or an alkali for pH adjustment. SOLUTION: This desalting method of the fly ashes comprises the extraction step S1 of mixing fly ashes with water and giving a slurry and the dewatering step S2 of dewatering the slurry and separating the slurry into washed ashes and filtrate and the filtrate obtained in the dewatering step S2 is used as a pH adjustment agent in the extraction step S1.
