A chemical liquid injection device (100) has a piston drive mechanism (130) for injecting a chemical liquid into a subject from a syringe, injection pressure measurement means for measuring the pressure of injection of the chemical liquid by the piston drive mechanism (130), an ideal-injection-pressure curve creation section (146) for creating an ideal injection pressure curve representing a variation with time of injection pressure in a test injection, and a display section (138) for displaying in the form of a graph the ideal injection pressure curve on coordinate axes. The ideal-injection-pressure creation section (146) creates the ideal injection pressure curve based on chemical liquid injection conditions at the time of the test injection. An actual injection pressure curve representing a variation with time of the injection pressure measured by the injection pressure measurement means is displayed in real time on the display section (138) on the coordinate axes where the ideal injection pressure curve is displayed.
