A system for controlling parking is provided to prevent burglary of a vehicle and casualty of a driver by managing a parking lot based on a license number, which is recognized from an image by capturing the vehicle entering the parking lot and the driver of the vehicle. A first camera capturing an image of a vehicle entering a parking lot, a first vehicle detector(130), a parking ticket issuer(150), a first license number recognizer(100), and a first vehicle bar(120) are installed to an entrance(1) of the parking lot. A second camera(240), a second vehicle detector(230), a second license number recognizer(200), a second vehicle bar(220), a parking fare display unit(250), a receipt printer(260), and a parking fare payment completion button(280) are installed to an exit(2) of the parking lot. The parking fare payment completion button rotates the vehicle bar when a driver pays a parking fare printed on a receipt output from the receipt printer. A server(300) is installed to the exit or a central control room(3). The server captures an image of the vehicle by operating the first and second camera, and recognizes the license number from the captured image. |
