摘要 A gain-clamped optical amplifier is provided to maintain a constant gain of a light signal propagating toward a core by forming a laser cavity for fixing the gain between a wavelength of a Raman laser and a signal wavelength of an amplified light signal. A gain-clamped optical amplifier has a Raman cavity and includes a Raman optical fiber module unit and a resonant cavity. The Raman optical fiber module unit amplifies an input light signal and outputs the amplified light signal. The resonant cavity generates a Raman laser within a feedback loop resonance cavity and generates a gain-clamped laser between the wavelength of the Raman laser and a gain band. A pumping light source generates a stimulated Raman scattering at the Raman optical fiber module unit, and generates the Raman laser and the gain-clamped laser by using the resonant cavity.
