<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic separator for a fuel cell having high acid resistance and low contact resistance, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The metallic separator 1 for the fuel cell is manufactured with a metallic base material 2, in which the surface is a plane or a recessed gas passage is formed in at least a part of the surface. An acid resistant metal film 3 including one or more kinds of non-noble metals selected from Zr, Nb, and Ta is formed on the surface of the metal base material; a conductive alloy film 4, containing one or more kinds of noble metals selected from among Au and Pt, and one or more kinds of non-noble metals selected from Zr, Nb; and Ta is formed on the acid resistant metal film 3. The manufacturing method of the metallic separator for the fuel cell includes a process S1 forming the acid resistant film and a step S2 forming the conductive alloy film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
