<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network secession management apparatus capable of eliminating troubles occurred when a device on a network secedes from the network, while the device performs distribution and recording of a broadcast content. <P>SOLUTION: The network secession management apparatus comprises: a detection means for detecting a secession device to be seceded or to be likely seceded from a network; a selection means for selecting an alternate device for performing alternative processing for receiving for distribution or recording of a broadcast content currently received by the secession apparatus for distribution or recording; an instruction means for instructing the alternate device to perform the alternative processing; and a direction means. When the secession apparatus secedes from the network and then returns to the network (step 131), if the secession apparatus and the alternate device perform recording of the received data about broadcasting from a same broadcast station in an overlapping fashion in the meantime (steps 132-134), the direction means is configured to direct the secession apparatus or the alternate device to delete what the secession apparatus or the alternate device holds, duplicated data or a file containing the duplicated data (step 135). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
