PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent incorrect attaching of a battery pack which does not correspond to an electronic equipment out of a plurality of kinds of batteries. SOLUTION: According to a kind, in one or both of mutually opposing side faces 2c, 2d neighboring with a placing face 2a to a battery attaching part 5, locking recessed parts 55, 56 with which a locking convex part 70 protruded and installed from the battery attaching part 5 side is engaged, and a detection groove 50 in which a detection convex part 51 for kind detection protruded and installed from the battery attaching part 5 side is engaged are formed, and the detection groove 50 is formed deeper in the in-plane direction of the placing face 2a than the locking recessed parts 55, 56.
