PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator capable of dispensing with excess components as a refrigerating cycle, miniaturizing a space for loading the refrigerating cycle, reducing costs, and further improving cooling performance. SOLUTION: A refrigerant inlet header portion 5 and a refrigerant outlet header portion 6 of this evaporator 1 are formed by dividing the inside of the header tank 2 to which a refrigerant flows in and out, into front and rear two spaces by a first partitioning wall 29. The inside of the refrigerant inlet header portion 5 is divided into a refrigerant inflow space 52 and a refrigerant outflow space 53 by a second partitioning wall 31. The first partitioning wall 29 is provided with a fin 35 for exchanging heat between a refrigerant flowing in the refrigerant inflow space 52 of the refrigerant inlet header portion 5 and the refrigerant flowing in the refrigerant outlet header portion 6.
