PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain transmission device reduced in manufacturing cost while reducing vibration and noise which are generated when a roller of a roller chain or a bush of a bush chain meshes with teeth of a sprocket and increasing a noise level difference between an overall (OA) sound and each rotating order sound to reduce noise which sticks to a one's mind. SOLUTION: In the chain transmission device, the roller 2 of the standard roller chain 1 meshes with the teeth of the sprocket 31. The standard roller chain 1 has a uniform chain pitch p.
