PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition which is safe and convenient to prevent surely and efficiently the hole of a jet nozzle in a warm water toilet seat from being clung by excreta, its oxide, water stain, and microbe to get yellowish or blackish. SOLUTION: The composition comprises a hydroxycarboxylic acid and its acidic salt as the main components, a water-soluble organic solvent, and a water-base surfactant having an HLB of 7 or more, wherein the composition has an adjusted pH of 3-6 to form a foam with an improved retention power.
