PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curing agent for coating excluding toxic substances, allergy incentive materials, exogenous endocrine-disrupting chemicals, etc., safety to human body and having a new structure. SOLUTION: The curing agent composition is obtained by amidating a diester (A) from a 5-8C linear dicarboxylic acid and an alcohol having a 1-5C aliphatic hydrocarbon group, and a di(2-hydroyalkyl) amine (B) having a 1-5C aliphatic hydrocarbon group, in a molar ratio of 0.60-0.95 of the total molar numbers of the amino groups of the (B) to the total molar numbers of the ester group in the (A), wherein the average functional groups per mole is 4-8 in the curing agent.
