The device (1) has a display for graphical representation of a transferred data e.g. data concerning level of operating liquids of a vehicle, and control device for controlling the graphical representation of the transferred data and for determining an alarm assigned to the data. The control device controls the display device during presence of the alarm assigned to the data, so that the control device changes the color of the graphical representation of the transferred data. An independent claim is also included for a method for displaying data concerning an operation of a vehicle.
