SHARED RESOURCE EXCLUSIVE CONTROL SERVER, SYSTEM, PROGRAM, AND METHOD

A server which can perform exclusive control of shared resource and belongs to a shared resource exclusive control system composed of a plurality of server groups each having at least two servers. In each of the server groups, a representative server which manages servers belonging to the server group receives a shared resource exclusive control request requested by the server belonging to the managed server group, requests the answer regarding whether or not the shared resource exclusive control based on the exclusive control request can be accepted to each of the representative servers of the other server groups excluding itself, and decides that the shared resource exclusive control is performed by the server which requests the shared resource exclusive control according to the result. Thus, it is smoothly confirmed whether or not the condition for the exclusive control is met when performing the shared resource exclusive control.
