<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation controller that prevents a battery charging current amount from exceeding an allowable maximum charging current amount Iqmax of a battery by adopting a secondary battery other than a lead battery. <P>SOLUTION: The power generation controller is provided with a magnet generator 21 driven by an internal combustion engine, a power generation current control means 22 that allows a rectification part 22a and a control part 22c to rectify an AC current to a DC current in order to adjust a power generation amount, and a battery 23 connected in parallel with the power generation current control means 22. The power generation current control means 22 is provided with the rectification part 22a, which converts an AC current generated by the magnet generator 21 into a DC current, and the control part 22c for controlling a power generation amount of the rectification part 22a.
