PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a general type extruder to which powdery, specially dust-state bulky material is fed and of which the entrance section of a housing is partially being filled with a material when increasing a conventionally achievable treating capacity of the powdery or dust state bulky material like this, accordingly can secure an operation causing no problem even for a practically normal pressure extruder. SOLUTION: The extruder (1) provided with the housing (2) provided with holes (3) and a screw (7) arranged there and parallel to each other and mutually engaging partially, is used when applying a method supplying powdery bulky material to the extruder (1) like this. Solid transport of the powdery bulky material is carried out by in the entrance section (14) arranged at the downstream side of a supply opening (9), and the entrance section (14) is partially filled with the material. In the entrance section, at least one gas-barrier wall part (24) is provided, and a bulky material layer is produced there, thereby, the bulky material is prevented from passing through the wall part (24).
