PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce video software only when prescribed conditions are satisfied when delivering the video software through digital broadcasting and a line. SOLUTION: A receiver for receiving an encoded signal is provided with a reception means for receiving the encoded signal, a decoding means for decoding the received encoded signal, an encoding means for encoding the decoded signal again, and a supply means for supplying the re-encoded signal to a recording medium.
