PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bump stopper 1 restricting a slip thereof on a collision surface 62 in a collision of an end 3 thereof with a counter member 61 and restricting the noise to be caused, in regard to a bump stopper 1 having constricted parts 2A and 2B in the peripheral surface thereof so as to exhibit the buffering work by elastically deforming in a collision of the annular axial end 3 with the counter member 61, with the end 3 thereof colliding with the counter member 61 in such a state that the axis O of the bump stopper is inclined against the collision surface 62 of the counter member 61. SOLUTION: The end 3 is formed into a shape thickened toward the end in the outer diameter and enlarged in the inner diameter, and the radial dimension d<SB>1</SB>of a collision starting point 4 positioned in the frontmost of the inner diameter surface is set at a value nearly equal to or more than the outer diameter dimension d<SB>2</SB>of the constricted part 2A positioned just above.
