PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems, wherein in an envelope mode, since only the maximum value and minimum value data of a measuring signal in a prescribed section determined by a time-base set value are preserved, data processing requiring equal time interval data, such as XY display or FFT, cannot be performed. SOLUTION: In an envelope mode time, both the maximum value and minimum value data and thin-out data are preserved, and waveform display is performed by using the maximum value and minimum value data, and XY display or FFT is performed by using the thin-out data.
