PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulfur concentration determination device of an internal combustion engine capable of prematurely determining the sulfur concentration of a fuel supplied thereto. SOLUTION: An engine system of this embodiment comprises: a catalyst 38 capable of storing and discharging the oxygen contained in an exhaust gas; an oxygen sensor 66 for detecting the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas after passing through the catalyst 38; a lubrication detection sensor 91 for determining the presence or absence of lubrication; and an ECU 4 for determining the sulfur concentration of the present supplied fuel according to the previous output value of the oxygen sensor while the previously supplied fuel is used and the present output value of the oxygen sensor while the present supplied fuel is used.
