PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable and reliable compressor capable of preventing overheat accompanying compression and deformation of a fixed scroll due to pressure, and showing excellent performance for a long period of time. SOLUTION: This scroll compressor has a compression mechanism comprising the fixed scroll and a movable scroll held in a semi-closed vessel and has a bottom plate of the fixed scroll retained and fixed on a rear housing constructing a part of a semi-closed vessel forming casing. The scroll compressor is characterized by fixing the bottom plate of the fixed scroll on the rear housing via a mashing part in which concavities and convexities are mutually meshing.
